PRODUCT CARE

• Most goalkeeper gloves use high-quality latex palms and materials for optimal grip in all conditions
• Latex is a soft, natural material subject to wear and abrasion over time
• Wear to the palms is normal and not covered under warranty

Prior to Use:
• Rinse gloves thoroughly before first use with clean, lukewarm water
• This removes impurities from the latex production and stitching
• It may be advisable to wash the gloves more than once for best performance

After Use:
• Wash gloves with a recommended glove wash or mild detergent
• Allow gloves to dry naturally—do not dry in warm places or direct sunlight

Do NOT dry using the following methods:
• Radiator
• Hair dryer
• Airing cupboard
• Tumble dryer
• Direct sunlight

LATEX WEAR

• Latex palms typically begin showing wear after first use - this is normal
• Wear depends on factors like age, technique, surface, prep, and care
• Better care = longer glove life
• Foam wear often occurs from ground contact or actions like adjusting socks or putting gloves on
• Velcro closures can cause friction and wear the latex
• Latex is a soft, natural product designed for grip—not long-term durability
• Gloves will continue to grip even with worn latex, until little to no latex remains
• Wear is more pronounced during early and late season on hard pitches
• Avoid unnecessary glove-to-ground contact if possible
• Young or inexperienced goalkeepers may see faster deterioration, which usually improves with technique
• Most gloves are used effectively for 6–8 games

GENERAL TIPS

• If you are concerned about latex wear, consider gloves with harder-wearing palms (note: they have reduced grip)
• Use new gloves for matches and older ones for training or warm-ups
• Colour fading during play is normal and does not affect glove performance
• Take care when putting gloves on and off, especially roll finger styles
• Remove your hand from the glove gently to avoid stressing seams, fingers, and thumbs
